Floutel is a national operator providing 600 Mb and 1 Gb symmetric fibre optic (FTTH) across Spain over the Orange and Movistar networks, which keep expanding. Coverage is checked address by address: it is free, instant and with no commitment.

How we check it: when you type your address, the checker translates it into its GESCAL code, the identifier the Spanish telecoms industry uses to pinpoint an address. With that code it requests the list of buildings at that address and, once you pick yours, it queries coverage for that specific property through its 37-character GESCAL. That is why the answer is about your building and not your street.

All plans include a Wi-Fi 6 router and a landline with unlimited calls to Spanish landlines and mobiles, and carry a 12-month minimum term. The fibre is symmetric: it uploads as fast as it downloads.
Symmetric fibre is not automatic: it depends on the network standard and on the profile the operator sells. Spanish FTTH networks are built on ITU-T PON standards, and while GPON (ITU-T G.984.2) is asymmetric by design, XGS-PON (ITU-T G.9807.1) is symmetric. All four Floutel plans are symmetric in both directions.

Frequently asked questions about Floutel coverage
Which towns does Floutel cover?
Floutel does not publish a list of towns, because fibre coverage is not decided by town but by building. Within the same town, and often within the same street, there are buildings with fibre installed and buildings without it. A list by locality would say yes to people we cannot serve and no to people who could have the service.
Why does my neighbour have fibre and I do not?
Because availability is checked building by building. The checker identifies your property with its 37-character GESCAL code, the identifier the Spanish telecoms industry uses to pinpoint a specific address, and queries whether there is fibre at that entrance. On the same street some buildings are connected and others are not yet.
Whose network does Floutel fibre run on?
Floutel does not deploy its own network: it provides the service over the Orange and Movistar fibre networks. Which of the two reaches your home depends on the rollout at your building, and that is what the coverage checker resolves.
Does checking coverage commit me to anything?
No. The check only asks for your address: no sign-up, no ID or bank details, and no obligation to buy. The result appears on the same page within seconds.
